Today, Two Friends return with a brand new single featuring Corbyn Besson kicking of a new era for the producer and DJ duo. “No One Else” offers the perfect summer vibe with its blend of pop-centric vocals and uplifting dance grooves. The talented artist delivers a pristine vocal performance complimented by Two Friend’s knack for creating infectious drops. The lyrics focus on a more personal message of mutual love through all the ups and downs, but in the end, “You know my heart don’t beat for no one else.” Stage Hoppers had the chance to learn about “No One Else” directly from Two Friends, plus some what’s on the horizon for the duo. More About “No One Else” with Two Friends
How did this track come to be, and what initiated this collaboration with Corbyn Besson?

“We had the core ideas for the song brewing for a bit, and when Corbyn came into the picture, everything just clicked. He brought a fresh energy and really helped bring the emotion of the track to life. And debuting it live with him at Red Rocks shortly after we finished it up helped us know we had something special.”

Were there any unexpected moments or creative directions that led to the final version?

“Definitely— this happens all the time with new songs, but we were battling between two pretty different directions for a while. Sometimes the best thing you can do is step away for a bit and come back with fresh ears to see what has stood the test of time. Then you need to eventually just go with your gut. I think we made the right decision. At least I hope.”

How does “No One Else” fit into the discography and development of Two Friends’ sound?

“It’s a blend of everything we love—big melodic moments, emotion in the lyrics & vocals, and a drop that still hits live. I think “No One Else” does a good job bridging some of our older stuff with where we’re heading now, and it feels like a great start to a new chapter of Two Friends.”

You dropped Big Bootie Mix Vol. 26 at a sold-out Big Bootie Land in Seattle. Any updates on the future of the Big Bootie universe you can share with fans?

“Let’s just say Vol. 27 is already in motion, and we’ve got some big surprises for the next evolution of the festival. Big Bootie Land is just getting started…”

If you had to describe “No One Else” with a movie scene, what would that scene look like?

“It’s the moment the main character sprints through the airport to stop someone from leaving. They barely make it, and now it’s time to celebrate.”

Any future collaborations that you are seeking out or artists you hope to work with?

“Tons! We’re always trying to collaborate with artists we look up to, or friends, or sometimes just someone that might feel a little unexpected. We say this a lot, but one day the Blink-182 / Two Friends collab will happen, I know it.”

Lastly, if fans take away one message from “No One Else,” what do you hope it is?

“This song is for those who’ve been through the highs, lows, and everything in between together and still choose each other. No One Else kicks off a whole new run of music we’ve got coming… cannot wait, and hopefully we’ll be singing these new ones with y’all at a show soon!”
