Sol Fest Music & Arts Festival, one of the most anticipated events on the music calendar, has just released its Phase 1 lineup for the third annual edition scheduled from Thursday, May 2 through Sunday, May 5, 2024. In a bold move, Sol Fest is relocating from its previous venue in Alabama to the breathtaking Vortex Spring in Ponce de Leon, Florida, promising an unforgettable four-day music and arts camping experience.
A Diverse Lineup to Ignite the Sunshine State
Sol Fest 2024’s Phase 1 lineup boasts an impressive roster of artists spanning the electronic music spectrum and jam acts. Headliners include the two-time JUNO Awards’ Electronic Album of the Year winner, REZZ, French trailblazer CloZee with two sets, and psychedelic bass purveyor LSDREAM. Canadian duo Bob Moses, melodic bass maestro Dabin, and British singer-producer Elderbrook are among the additional headliners, promising a musical journey like never before.
Special performances from Barclay Crenshaw, Flowdan, and a unique Lightcode set by LSDREAM will add extra layers to the festival experience. Attendees can also look forward to daily waterpark parties hosted by Two Feet, Chase & Status, and takeovers from CloZee’s Odyzey imprint and Dr. Fresch’s House Call Records.
Beyond the Beats: Vortex Spring, a Tropical Wonderland
The 2024 edition of Sol Fest takes place at the brand-new venue, Vortex Spring, a 500+ acre recreational camping and dive park in Ponce De Leon, Florida. Attendees can enjoy a tropical wonderland perfect for camping, snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming. The venue features six epic water slides, a beach with palm trees, and a clear blue water spring. Activities range from underwater cave diving to tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
Vortex Spring campground offers shaded pine forest glamping and camping options, on-site showers, restrooms, and housing. Shaded RV sites with 30/50 AMP hookups and a two-story VIP building with A/C and an indoor and outdoor balcony add to the comfort and convenience.
Sol Sunday: A Celebration of Community and Diversity
Sol Fest isn’t just about music; it’s a community-driven event. Sol Sunday, the festival’s annual memorial segment, pays homage to Quentin “Sol” Rupp, emphasizing inclusivity, community, equality, and diversity. The festival also features live and digital art installations, therapeutic workshops, and a variety of daytime activities, games, and 40+ food, merch, and craft vendors.
