As the year winds down, excitement ramps up for the ultimate celebration to welcome 2023 in style. Today, FNGRS CRSSD unveiled the Phase One lineup for PROPER NYE/NYD, a two-day, multi-stage event taking place at San Diego’s iconic Petco Park on December 31, 2022, and January 1, 2023.
A World-Class Lineup in a Prime Location
Following its sold-out debut last year, PROPER has quickly cemented its reputation as Southern California’s ultimate New Year’s Eve destination. This year, the event is promising a truly international experience, with over 50 world-class artists taking the stage.
Headliners include Black Book Records label boss Chris Lake, the TESTPILOT alter-ego of legendary deadmau5, Grammy-nominated electronic producer ZHU, Mad Decent superproducer Diplo, triple-platinum UK duo CamelPhat, and the enchanting German act Claptone.
More Than Just a Music Festival
Set against the sprawling backdrop of Petco Park, nestled in San Diego’s vibrant city center, PROPER is more than just a music festival—it’s a full-scale New Year’s experience. Attendees will dance the night away with unobstructed views of downtown San Diego, making it a perfect spot to ring in the New Year.
A Celebration of Electronic Music
From groove-driven duos like Walker & Royce to global sensation Layla Benitez and Chicago’s underground riser Azzecca, house and techno aficionados will find no shortage of talent to enjoy. The techno stage, in particular, boasts high-caliber artists such as Berlin’s production duo Pan-Pot and breakout rave sensation Rebūke.

FNGRS CRSSD is extending an alumni presale starting Thursday, 8/17 at 12 PM PST, available to past attendees of CRSSD Spring, CRSSD Fall 2023, PROPER NYE 2022/23, and the FNGRS CRSSD Petco Park 2022/23 shows. Additionally, an SMS Community presale will begin on Friday, 8/18 at 12 PM PST. For the general public, GA and VIP tickets will be available from Friday, 8/18 at 2 PM PST.

Expanding Horizons: PROPER Las Vegas Edition
Adding to the excitement, FNGRS CRSSD has also announced initial details for a brand-new PROPER Las Vegas edition. Set to take place on December 30th and 31st at AREA15, this 21+ event will extend the PROPER experience, featuring four stages and promising a lineup as robust as its San Diego counterpart—if not more so. Additional details for this highly anticipated event are set to be announced next week.
