Welcome to our sixth Artist Spotlight and second Session!
For those of you that don’t know, an Artist Spotlight is where we talk to a rising star in the EDM scene and a Session is an exclusive mix for Beyond the Beats.
Hailing from London by way of New Zealand, JAVAX (real name: Jordy) is no stranger to hard hitting, energetic trap music. His take on trap music promises to punch you in the gut and steal your lunch money on the playground.
In fact, if you want to get a little taste of what he’s throwing down you’re in luck. JAVAX has put together a killer mix for Beyond the Beats Sessions which you can hear at the beginning of this episode. A half hour of insanity delivered right to your eardrums from the man himself.
With powerful flips of Skrillex, Quix, NGHTMRE and stellar originals like Take It (premiered on FUXWITHIT), Click, and This Time; JAVAX promises to deliver constant heat while making a statement with each one of his tracks.
We got a chance to connect with JAVAX and talk to him about pursuing a career in music and what it took to make it all happen. We also dive into his origin story, musical influences, his thoughts on the EDM scene, and much more.
Catch JAVAX live at Printworks in London on Saturday, October 19th. You can find a link to tickets and all of JAVAX’s profiles in our show notes.
